Solesi S.P.A. operated for about 7 years in one of the largest nuclear power plants located in Mochovce, Slovakia. The activities carried out by our company were carried out in more than 40 buildings and inside over 1,000 rooms, including Conventional Island (Turbine Hall Unit 3 & Unit 4; transverse and longitudinal buildings for both Units 3 & 4) and Island nuclear power (Reactor Building Units 3 and 4; Auxiliary Building-BAPP). Other activities were carried out outside and in newly expanded areas.

Here are some of the main works carried out within the nuclear power plant:

• installation of plates and anchor points in the nuclear reactor building, in the auxiliary building, in the conventional island;
• civil works in the buildings of the reactor and the auxiliary building, such as screeds, foundations, seismic reinforcements, resin floors;
• civil works in the conventional island, or waterproofing of wells and basins; renovation of existing buildings;
• construction of a new Common Diesel GS building;
• construction of a new internal railway;
• construction of new steel and reinforced concrete structures;
• wells and canals;
• completion of the flooring in Turbine Hall;
• steel cladding on the floor of room A122 and Completion of the fire prevention network in the nuclear reactor building;
• rehabilitation and waterproofing of concrete surfaces of the central pumping station for non-essential service water;
• renovation and completion of the glass facade, reactor building, and roof renovation in the auxiliary building;
• construction of water and sanitary systems.

In 2015, the Site reached a peak of over 200 people involved for approximately 1,500,000 hours of work performed by Solesi S.p.A ..
