Last October 20th the Cassa edile Awards 2023 was held in Bari, organized by the National Joint Commission of Building Funds and promoted by SAIE. The competition is an ethical competition, an innovative prize that does not recognize records, but values within the construction supply chain, putting the spotlight on entrepreneurship, professionalism and, above all, respect for workers and rules.

The award is awarded to all those who carry forward positive values and contribute to the development of an ethical business system that supports the bilateral construction system.

The objective of this prestigious recognition is therefore to enhance companies that combat unfair competition by standing out for their compliance with the rules and national collective agreements. The project was therefore born to create an “ethical system” that favors opportunities and guarantees for businesses and for the future of workers.

Among the 54 companies throughout the province of Syracuse awarded by the Cassa Edile, Solesi S.p.A. obtained recognition for the second consecutive year and this time for three categories in the competition:

DREAM TEAM, recognition given to regular companies in the current financial year that have the highest fully paid contributions.
FAIR PLAY, award to the regular company that has been reporting for several months without suspension. The title celebrates the correctness of the company.
TOP PLAYER COMPANY, award to the companies with the highest number of hours worked per worker in the indicated financial year. The title celebrates the extraordinary commitment of the company.

These awards are a recognition of our ongoing commitment to advancing our work and values, and we are grateful for the tireless work of our employees, the trust of our customers and the support of our partners.

We are happy to share with all of you that our company has won the prestigious award for the best company at Donges site, France, for safety and environmental management for the fifth time. This recognition adds to the four awards previously won, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to protecting the environment and the safety of our employees and business partners.

We are pleased to share with you the feedback we have received from one of our major customers, KT – Kinetics Technology S.p.A., a company of the Maire Tecnimont Group. Sincere appreciation and gratitude has been expressed to us for the management of the activities relating to the construction of the new part of the plant in the Total refinery in Donges.

Our client has recognized SOLESI’s commitment to promoting the safety of all personnel involved in the project, through the installation of wooden railings, even where the standard protection systems could not have been performing or applicable, demonstrating our focus on health, safety and environmental (HSE) issues.

The preparations that SOLESI has decided to install did not only concern the areas of exclusive pertinence of our workers, but they concerned all the areas occupied by the companies working on the project, providing a contribution and an incentive for safe work even to those companies that do not have adequate resources to allow their employees to operate in a comfortable working environment, due to potential penalizing factors not related to their own direct risks.

The activities carried out in the occupied areas and the possible impacts on access to the site and on the general use have been carefully considered, demonstrating once again SOLESI’s commitment to operate in a responsible and sustainable way. We are proud to have been chosen as a partner in this project and to have contributed to the promotion of a safe and healthy working environment for our staff and for all those who work with us.

We will continue to work hard to ensure high quality work that complies with HSE standards and responds to the needs of our stakeholders.

We are pleased to share that our company has won for the fourth time the award for best company in construction site safety and environmental management, within the Horizon project at Total’s refinery in Donges, France. This important acknowledgment demonstrates our company’s constant commitment to ensuring maximum safety and protection of the environment in which we operate.

We are proud to have received this recognition for the fourth time, which represents a confirmation of the effectiveness of our company policies and our actions in matters of safety and the environment.
